ANDY PIGGOTT – MANAGING DIRECTOR

With an eye for commercial strategy and a thorough understanding of the high net worth market, Andy has been an insurance broker for nearly 40 years.

Having been a manger for a national broker, as well as an owner of companies both internationally and in the UK, he is hands-on in the management and development of both national and international clients. His unique experience in the sector, as well as his enormous resource of contacts in the industry, means that he is often called upon to arrange unique solutions to bespoke client challenges.

PHIL BEESLEY- DIRECTOR

Phil has over 35 years insurance experience having started his insurance career in 1980 as an Insurance Company Underwriter, before moving into broking in 1993. Since this time he has amassed and retained a great number of private and commercial clients of all sizes in no small part due to his high client service ethic.

At Grosvenor Phils main focus is helping Andy drive the business forward with a combination of new business and the retention of existing clients. In addition he oversees, assists and advises his other broking colleagues when required.

VICKI COURTNEY – OFFICE MANAGER

Vicki started her working career in 1994, she has worked in most areas of the industry including Personal
Lines and Commercial products. She is now the Of ce Manager and with the prime insurance role now being Commercial Products deals with all aspects of covers required. Vicki is a proud long-time Volunteer in Scouting and has recently been appointed as Group Scout Leader by her district. Having attended the World Scout Jamboree in Japan spends a lot of time outdoors and teaching young children all about scouting values.

TRACEY MADDOCKS – ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Tracey started her insurance career in 1983, and has worked at provincial and national brokers in the North West. She has been a part of the Grosvenor team since earlier this year, providing broking support in a new business capacity and also helping to retain existing client accounts.

MARTIN E. ELLISON – CHARTERED INSURANCE BROKER

Martin joined the industry in 1980 as an underwriter for the General Accident in London. Following a transfer to their claims department in Liverpool he moved into broking in 1984; preferring the diversity and individuality that careers in many small to medium-sized intermediaries offer. Since then, Martin has held many responsible roles in management, broking and claims; working at all levels acting as a professional advisor on all types of insurance.

Martin joined Grosvenor Insurance Brokers in June 2016 in order to support and add weight to our team of experienced brokers; with particular responsibility for claims, Legal Indemnities, Liability Insurance and ensure we continue to meet with the regulatory requirement of the FCA.

CHRISTINE CLARK- ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Christine began her insurance career in 1979, firstly with insurers and moving to broking in 1983. Having started in a Motor Underwriting capacity, she then moved into a sales development role for both Personal and Commercial lines, including Private Medical Insurance. In 1983 she moved to the broker market and over the years has developed very long-standing relationships with her clients, looking after both their personal and business insurance interests.

Christine joined Grosvenor in 2011 to develop our High Net Worth portfolio. Her focus is to provide an all-round service to our High Net Worth clients, which includes their commercial interests. Christine also handles all claims on behalf of her clients, to ensure that they are concluded as quickly as possible.

ANDY ROLPH – INSURANCE SALES DIRECTOR

Andy started his Insurance career in 1985 and has always focussed on personal lines with the last 20 years developing his High Value Insurance expertise in senior management roles, primarily with a development focus. Andy has worked for High Net Worth Businesses including Independent Insurance, Hiscox, Oak and Markham.

At Grosvenor, Andy’s main focus is on winning new accounts and developing new and niche markets, whilst enhancing relationships with existing Insurers.

STEVE LENEGHAN – INSURANCE CONSULTANT

Leaving school in 1976 Steve went straight into Personal Lines gaining knowledge by dealing face to face with clients over the counter at a number of brokers on the Wirral and North Wales. Moving to a Commercial Broker in the early 90’s it was there that he developed a talent for Fleet Insurance that involved negotiating with Insurers and clients alike. This led him to his big break, moving to Commercial Broker, Robinson Leslie in the mid 90’s to develop his own account.

Having further stints at large brokers in Liverpool and being instrumental in forming a Broker specialising in Haulage and Fleet insurance in Manchester, Steve moved back to Chester with Giles Insurance and is now at what he feels is his spiritual home, Grosvenor Insurance

JESPER NIELSEN – GENERAL INSURANCE MANAGER

Jesper started his insurance career in 1996 in Denmark where he handled personal injury claims and travel insurance claims. In 2002 he moved to the product development department before starting in sales in 2005 concentrating on private lines.

In 2008 Jesper moved to commercial sales as an account manager where he handled clients with up to 50 employees including pensions plans and PMI plans. After relocating to Spain Jesper then joined Grosvenor in January 2015 and is concentrating on developing both private and commercial sales in Gibraltar with focus on client relationships and good old fashion personal broker service.

PHIL TASKER – NON EXEC CHAIRMAN

With over 40 years of being an Insurance Broker, ranging from a small family brokers to a Global giant, Phil is pleased to act as non executive Chairman to Grosvenor and, as he puts it

“You cannot beat the service and the relationship that a local broker will create. They want the best for their client, the most competitive premium, the widest cover and the minimal fuss with claims and will go that extra mile to achieve these objects”

Phil has also twice been President of the Chester and North Wales Institute of Insurance and is keen to promote training and qualifications in an ever changing, compliance lead insurance world. He is pleased that his role means that he is working with other like minded colleagues. The job is made much easier by this and long may it continue.

KIMBERLEY LIVELL SMITH

Kimberley is the newest member at Grosvenor Insurance. Since gaining a degree in French & Spanish at Leeds University, Kimberley has amounted eight years’ experience in the Insurance Industry.

She has knowledge and expertise in both Motor and Non-motor insurance working in a variety of roles in underwriting and broking.

Working for a large Commercial Broker specialising in haulage, she worked on renewals for Hanson, Lafarge Tarmac and  Aggregate Industries, dealing with all classes of insurance. Kimberley then moved to an independent brokerage and gained a good understanding of Agricultural and Equestrian Risks.

Kimberley has spent the last 3 years of her career as a Commercial Account Executive, working on renewals, new business and client portfolios. She has a keen attention to detail and prides herself on understanding the markets to which she places business and her bespoke customer service.

Her main focus at Grosvenor is to identify new business opportunities, whilst maintaining strong client and  insurer relationships and also develop the existing book of business through cross selling.
