Life Protection

There are several ways in which to protect yourself and your family in the event of an untimely death.

 Most people take out life assurance to provide for their families and alleviate any financial worries at a difficult time.

Term Assurance

Term Assurance can provide a lump sum offering valuable financial support to your loved ones in the event of your death

Critical illness cover is also available. This can provide a lump sum on diagnosis of many serious illnesses, for example Heart Attack, Stroke, or cancer. (Comprehensive cover is offered subject to medical underwriting. We will advise you of the full range of illness and definitions available)

 Mortgage Protection

Mortgage Protection will protect yourself and your family with a lump sum that can be used to repay the mortgage in the event of your death or critical illness.

Decreasing Term assurance is usually suitable to protect a repayment mortgage. Because the benefit reduces over time, in line with your mortgage balance, the premiums can be lower than for Level Term Assurance.

We recommend plans that are tailored to suit the term and interest rate of your borrowing and can include additional benefits.

 Family Income Benefit

Family Income Benefit is similar to term assurance, but instead of paying a lump sum it will pay a regular monthly/annual tax free income if you die or are diagnosed with a critical illness;

• Can be taken out as joint or single life policy.

• Benefit can be increased each year to offset the effects of inflation.
