Celebrating our partnership with a Chester based charity
On Thursday 8th March 2018 we held a Partnership Celebration to announce our partnership with Chester Voluntary Action.
We are delighted to support such a fantastic local charitable organisation, which has been in existence for over 100 years. The CVA act as a broker to provide pro-bono support and skill shares for local charities from local businesses. All funds raised go towards benefitting numerous charities and individuals in and around the city.
For every new client referred to Grosvenor Insurance who takes out an insurance policy, we will make a donation to the CVA. This means that business owners and their clients will be making a real difference to people’s lives in and around Chester, just by doing business with Grosvenor Insurance. (T&Cs apply).
The Partnership Celebration event was held at the Macdonald Blossoms Hotel in Chester, in conjunction with Consilio Wealth Management.
We have been working with Mark Evans of Consilio to offer insurance advice on his expert panel of service providers. Mark is also offering his time and expertise to a local charity, organised by the CVA.
The event was attended by 50 local business men and women, who enjoyed canapes and drinks over informal networking.
Joanne Walton delivered a heart-warming speech about how the CVA help around 500 of the 2000 charities in Cheshire. Joanne has worked for the CVA for 6 years but recently has been on the receiving end of its support, when they were able to organise help from a local charity for her terminally ill father.
Andy Piggott, Director of Grosvenor Insurance, spoke of how passionate he was about making a real difference in the Chester area through the services they provide and the funds they expect to raise for the CVA through the new partnership.
We very much look forward to working alongside Chester Voluntary Action and Consilio Wealth management into 2018 and beyond.
